Why a Gold Coast Certified Valuer Makes a Difference

What you gain when your valuer works in Southport rather than mailing you a template report

Certified Business Valuers in Southport, Gold Coast

A valuer who follows Gold Coast business sales, from Surfers Paradise hospitality to the Molendinar and Yatala industrial areas, understands how the Queensland Revenue Office treats transfer duty, landholder duty and payroll tax, knows what Queensland courts expect of an expert, and can meet you face to face.

From A$799, With Certified Reports From Seven Business Days

You see the price and the process before you sign anything. After your information is complete, certified Summary and Detailed reports are delivered from seven business days.

Certified & Signed by a Named Valuer

Every certified report is signed by a credentialed valuer whose name is on it, in a format the ATO, ASIC, the courts and Australian banks accept.

The Right Report for a Sale, the ATO, Financial Reporting & SMSF Loans

Each purpose lines up with one of the three report types. We tell you which on the first call rather than pointing you at the dearest option.

Understand How the Number Was Reached

The closing call covers the approaches used, the adjustments made and how they were reconciled, so you can explain the figure to anyone who asks.

Written for the ATO and the Queensland Revenue Office

Built on APES 225 and the ATO's market valuation guidelines, and laid out to hold up when the ATO, the Queensland Revenue Office or your auditor reviews it.

Choose the Service That Matches Your Purpose

Frequently Asked Questions for a Business Valuation

An independent, reasoned opinion of what a business or a parcel of shares is worth at a set date, built from the income, market and asset approaches and brought together into one conclusion that can be supported.
Yes, if the figure will be examined by the Supreme Court of Queensland, the ATO, the Queensland Revenue Office, a lender or an opposing expert. A planning figure kept inside the business only needs an Indicative report; it is for internal decision-making and is not a certified opinion for third parties.
In many cases, where the report serves an income-producing purpose or relates to a CGT event. Your accountant can confirm how that applies to your situation.
Generally yes for a sale, a partner joining, an employee share scheme, a loan application or an SMSF audit, where people outside the business read the figure but are unlikely to dispute it in court.
Software can run a formula, but it cannot decide how to normalise earnings, how much risk to price or which comparable sales matter, and no bank or court relies on an unsigned printout. Every one of our reports is prepared by a person, and each certified report is signed by a certified valuer.
In most cases a Detailed report. Expert evidence in the Supreme Court and the District Court of Queensland, including District Court matters heard at the Southport courthouse, is governed by Chapter 11 Part 5 of the Uniform Civil Procedure Rules 1999 (Qld), and family law matters follow the Federal Circuit and Family Court's rules; both expect the reasoning in full. If the dispute is likely to settle at mediation, a Summary report can be enough, and we confirm that on the first call.
It backs the decision that led you to commission it: pricing a sale, settling a dispute, responding to the ATO or the Queensland Revenue Office, satisfying an auditor, or agreeing terms with a partner or investor.
APES 225 Valuation Services is the main Australian standard. The International Valuation Standards apply where cross-border comparability matters, and the ATO's market valuation guidelines apply wherever there is a tax outcome.
Our signing valuer holds the CFA, ABV and CBV designations and has over 15 years of valuation, transaction and expert evidence work. A certified valuer signs every certified report.
A report prepared and signed under APES 225 by a credentialed valuer, setting out the purpose, the evidence, the adjustments and the reasoning so that a court, the ATO, a lender or the other party can act on it.
We are at 75 Nerang Street in Southport, the Gold Coast's central business district. We work with owners from Coomera and Hope Island to Coolangatta and the hinterland, and take on engagements elsewhere in Australia by video.
